LMI UK Franchise News – June 2025
Welcome to the June issue of LMI UK Franchise News, giving you further insight into the world of LMI and the partnership opportunity.
Social Proof
In his seminal work ‘Influence – the psychology of persuasion‘, Robert Chialdini highlighed social proof as one of the key influencing factors of human behaviour. If we see others going a certain way we are far more likely to follow. Crucially when it comes to business, what others say about us is far more influential than what we say about ourselves. That’s why at LMI UK we are so focused on client reviews. What they say really matters, and it’s not just about giving a star rating or a score out of ten. We must listen to how they describe their experience and what had the biggest impact on them in order to understand where the value lies in what we do. For you, as you consider various career &/or franchise opportunities, or indeed your own personal development, understanding what makes LMI different to other coaching/training organisations is key to your decision-making process.
With all this in mind, this edition of LMI UK Franchise News is dedicated to what others say about us rather than what we say ourselves. We’ll start with one posted on LinkedIn last week by a Seema, a manager of a medium-sized organisation that was investing in upskilling their current managerial teams through LMI’s Effective Leadership Development programme:
The most impactful aspect of the LMI Effective Leadership Development course was its blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Each chapter provided a new framework for understanding leadership, which we then explored through real-world case studies. These studies challenged us to analyze complex situations, make strategic decisions, and anticipate potential outcomes, fostering a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. The group discussions were particularly valuable, allowing us to learn from each other’s diverse experiences and perspectives, and reinforcing the importance of collaboration and open communication in effective leadership.
Moreover, the course delved into the personal dimensions of leadership, encouraging self-reflection and the identification of individual strengths and areas for improvement. Through various exercises and assessments, we gained a deeper understanding of our leadership styles, values, and motivations. This self-awareness enabled us to tailor our approaches to different situations and team dynamics, enhancing our ability to inspire and influence others. The emphasis on personal growth underscored the idea that effective leadership starts from within, requiring continuous learning, adaptation, and a commitment to self-improvement.
Here’s another one shared by Panka, early careers L&D lead of a major international electronics company who have been using our Making of a Champion programme as part of their Graduate scheme:
Making of a Champion has been a strong start to our young talent development programme for years.
While sometimes it can be challenging to convince learners to spare time for growing soft skills in a business environment, Making of a Champion is a programme our young talent always dedicated their time to joyfully, and have grown through personally and professionally – according to their own testimonies and reflected by their closing presentations as well. The two top strengths of the programme as I see it is learning reflective practice – leading from a place of knowing ourselves – and its community building power – our grads have developed into a stronger group as a result of the programme, growing a sense of community and belonging between them. I would recommend it to any organisation or individual that would like to grow their insight into their own person, build internal motivation, and set goals that propel them forward on the path they have envisioned.
Finally, another posted on LinkedIn by Sali, sharing their experience of LMI’s Effective Personal Leadership programme:
Nine months of learning more about myself—how to navigate life with a high self-image, how to balance the different areas of life, how to visualize, plan, and accomplish; how to celebrate and reflect; how to feel at ease while still diving into new experiences with courage… I could talk about this experience for hours.
Grateful for who I am, and hopeful for who I will become.
This life-changing journey is worth remembering and revisiting. I can truly say I carried a lot from it, and it shifted my perspective on personal capability and the abundance life holds.
All my predetermined goals will turn into reality.
I am present—with a clear purpose, mission, vision, and many dreams to accomplish.
Not worrying about the future, living the moment, and planning for the life ahead
Whether it’s Personal Leadership or Personal Productivity, Making of a Champion or Effective Strategic Leadership, LMI programmes walk people through a defined, structured process of personal and professional growth that helps to reflect on where they are, where they want to be, and take action to achieve short and long-term goals as work and outside of work. As so many have said, it’s life-changing stuff!
The LMI programmes get fantastic results in all kinds of organisations, including some of the world’s most-known brands:
133 and counting…
We have video testmonials on our YouTube channel and on our website case studies page and, to date, 133 written reviews via Findcourses.co.uk which you can view here.
Alex recently posted this after completing the Personal Productivity programme:
I went into this course thinking that a busy and stressful work and life was what I had signed myself up to and that was that. The course opened my eyes to day to day options and planning that can help me on a day to day basis both in and out of work. It has helped me to relax more and achieve things that would have previously caused me headaches.
That first sentence is typical of where so many find themselves today. To see that mindset change as the reality dawns that they don’t have to be resigned to life being continually overly-busy and stressful is so fulfiling to facilitate. Talk about job satisfaction!
I trust this slightly different edition of the newsletter has given you interesting food for thought. We’ll finish with a word about our Foundations workshops as a great place to begin (or continue) your LMI exploration…
